Amusement Today announced their 2013 Golden Ticket Award Winners last night. We got all the details you want to know about who won and for what along with some randomly peppered sarcasm for a few things that probably shouldn't have won! Oh Boy, we're going to have some fun with that!

Alright Carrie, Get to it already..

Without further ado..
2013 Golden Ticket Award Winners

Best New Attraction for 2013: Outlaw Run at Silver Dollar City (45%)

Best New Ride for 2013 (Waterpark): River Rush at Dollywood's Splash Country (53%)

Best Park: Cedar Point (23%)
-Seriously, Cedar Point!? I like the park, it's got amazing rides but their overall service has gone so far downhill it's nearly out of control. Off the top of my head, I can name five other parks that are overall better then Cedar Point was this season.

Best Water Park: Schlitterbahn (45%)

Best Children's Park: Idlewild and Soakzone (39%)

Best Marine Life Park: Seaworld Orlando (58%)
-Well yeah, it's the largest of the Seaworld parks!

Best Seaside Park: Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (36%)

Best Kids' Area: Planet Snoopy at Kings Island (32%)
-It's HUGE, have you seen this place?!

Cleanest Park: Holiday World (26%)

Friendliest Park: Dollywood (35%)
-Really? I think they must have missed Canada's Wonderland!

Best Shows: Dollywood (41%)

Best Outdoor Show Production: Epcot (29%)
-Well yeah, when you've got that kind of nighttime firework budget it will be good but still not as excellent as it was in the 90's.

Best Landscaping: Busch Gardens Willimasburg (33%)
-Duh.

Best Food: TIED Dollywood (24%) and Knoebels Amusement Resort (24%)
-Knoebels has Excellent food and for really good prices!

Best Carousel: Knoebels Amusement Resort (48%)
-Gotta catch the ring!

Best Water Ride: Duddly Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls at Universal's Islands of Adventure (20%)
-I swear, I think they made this category just for Duddly Do-Rights!

Best Waterpark Ride: Wildebeest at Splashin' Safari (24%)

Best Dark Ride: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey at Universal's Islands of Adventure (19%)
-....yeah, it's that good.

Best Indoor Waterpark: Schlitterhahn Galveston Island (31%)

Best Indoor Roller Coaster: Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Orlando (23%)
-Mummy is an excellent ride but it's not much of a roller coaster in my opinion.

Best Funhouse/Walk-through: Noah's Ark at Kennywood (34%)
-Now if they would just FIX IT they'd really deserve this award!

Best Halloween Event: Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando (30%)
-Duh.

Best Christmas Event: Dollywood (47%)
-This surprised me, I'd have expected Christmastown at Busch Gardens Williamsburg to have beaten out Dollywood. I'm starting to wonder if bribes are involved.
